The ten-year anniversary of 9/11 is upon us. That day was a moment in time many of us will never forget. Our sister company, Blue Pony, created this video in memory of the loved ones who were lost and in honor of those who served and gave their life on that tragic day.
When this video was first discussed, we thought about where we were when this happened and what we were doing? This is a moment in time many of us will never forget. Personally, I was the Sales Coordinator, going through emails when the phone calls started rolling in about this tragedy. Several of us went into the conference room to watch it on the t.v. monitor. We also had six staff members in London for PLASA as well as another staff member traveling on sales calls close to where all the events were taking place. So many of our customers were also touched by this tragedy. Feel free to share with us your memories of this tragic day in American history.
If you would like more information on how you can obtain a copy of this video contact sales@bluepony.com. Here is our tribute to all those affected.

Nice and touching video. Its nice to see a memorial that does not have to show images of the buildings falling but more on the people who were affected.

Wonderful, touching video. Kudos to Blue Pony!
I was 10 minutes from the Pentagon when the 1st plane hit. I was driving to an Apollo dealer and was listening to the radio. I thought it was a small plane and an accident. When I arrived they had the TV on and I knew it was no accident. We watched as the 2nd plane hit the 2nd tower and stood in disbelief. When the 3rd plane struck the Pentagon our disbelief became a reality and our anxiety climbed a bit higher. I honestly had no idea just how close we were to the Pentagon. We watched history in the making and I was unaware of friends and family wondering about my safety. My cell phone wouldn’t work and the land line phones were unreliable. I was finally able to make contact and my cohorts at Apollo said, “Get home!” My flight home was to leave on Thursday…I knew that wasn’t going to happen so I decided to kidnap my rental car and drive home. Going through Pennsylvania I was very close to where the United Flight 93 went down in Shanksville. There were many United vehicles along the highway. It took me 10 hours to drive home and as I listened to the radio I couldn’t help thinking it was all a long, horrible dream. How in the world could this have happened? Today, I honor those who lost their lives 10 years ago and their grieving families. I thank God for my safe drive home and I shout with pride…I AM PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN!
