Tell everyone a little about yourself.
I am a native Pennsylvanian but grew up in California. A short film project in high school led to attending and graduating from Long Beach State with a degree in media arts. I began touring full time in 1984 on Prince’s Purple Rain tour. Over the years I have done shows at the pyramids in Egypt, at a leper colony in Calcutta, a command performance for the Queen and a concert for a drug lord in Columbia. I met my wife, Yvonne, in 1987 on a Julio Iglesias tour and got married in 1988. We toured together on Diana Ross and Bonnie Raitt. Our touring career culminated working for a spoof heavy metal band, Spinal Tap. We currently have two furry children, miniature pinschers named Peanut and Pixie.

Apollo 2320, .9 neutral density, describes me best.

Hate to say it but I download podcasts about fiscal policy from various think tanks. To balance this smorgasbord of wonkiness I have over 100 hours of classical music too.
What are some of your hobbies?
I make sawdust which is a by-product of stuff like this.
What kind of car do you drive?
I drive a salvaged Chevy HHR affectionately known as the “clown car”.
What is your refrigerator mostly filled with?
My fridge is filled mostly with things I would never eat and get in the way of what I’m really looking for.
What is my worst habit?
I suspect most people don’t answer this honestly. My wife would say I clean too much. Honestly!
What is your favorite Apollo memory?
While working on a General Motors tradeshow in 2003 the client decided late Friday night to add 100 lights with blue dichroic with safety frames. Apollo delivered the following morning.
